Aidan O’Neill is a junior Sports Journalism major at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. Originally from Solvang, California, he is an aspiring play-by-play broadcaster with a lifelong passion for sports storytelling. At ASU, he serves as Head of Broadcast for Blaze Radio, doing play-by-play for all sports and helping coordinate more than 400 broadcasts each season, and is the creator and host of The Irish Hello, the 2025 IBS Award winner for Best Sports Talk Show. Along with his on-air work as a broadcaster, videographer, and podcaster, Aidan is interested in the business side of sports media.
